We designed our tea bags with a great deal of thought and consideration, to offer tea drinkers a more convenient option. We hand blend each of our teas before they are packed into tea bags, to ensure there is no compromise on flavour, or therapeutic benefit. We chose a biodegradable mesh material, which is called “Soilon” and is made from plant starch. We have personally tested the biodegradability in our own home compost, and found our used tea bags break down well in a warm, composting environment.
