We spent the day capturing some magical tea drinking moments around the Surfcoast of Victoria. Feeling blessed to be surrounded by so much natural beauty + to call this part of the world home. Taking time out to escape the hustle + bustle of Tokyo, we headed south to Shizuoka to experience tranquil tea plantations. It was here, we met the growers of our Japanese green tea; Kazuo + his son Takeshi, a family of passionate tea farmers. To top off our visit, Kazuo picked these Shitake mushrooms from the edge of the tea plantation for us to cook for dinner. Meeting the people, learning their craft + hearing their stories, is what makes this journey special.
