? Did you know that the clear bags we use that hold our tea are NOT polypropylene plastic bags like many food grade bags? Which means you can compost our cellophane bags and they will naturally break down in your home compost. Our outer packaging is made from recyclable cardboard and we print using vegetable-based inks. We then also ship our products in post-consumer recycled cartons, so you can be sure that we’ve thought about our packaging choices and the effect our products have on the environment. Even though the range has grown from just a few blends to over 50, we still take the time to hand blend and test each batch to ensure optimum therapeutic benefit and flavour

Directly sourced from the Hunan province in China, Jasmine Pearls, sometimes referred to as Buddha’s tears, are individually hand rolled to form their unique shape. When infused with water, each pearl slowly unfurls, releasing its distinct flavour. With soft floral tones of jasmine, and a clean, balanced green tea body, this is a remarkable tea that can be steeped multiple times, revealing subtle and unique flavours

“I believe that when you start to make healthier choices with the simple things like foods or drinks, with the intention of improving your health, you open up the way to shift your diet and lifestyle, in a more holistic direction, on a much larger scale. This then has a flow on effect, and can lead to bigger changes and greater awareness of one’s state of well being.” – Emma, Love Tea Naturopath

“Just wanted to say thank you for your Fertility tea. After drinking your tea for 2 weeks, I found out I was pregnant! After months of trying it was a great surprise and I’d like to think your tea helped. Keep up the good work.”

We have put a great deal of effort into sourcing biodegradable packaging materials, to ensure we provide environmentally friendly products, which in turn reduces our environmental impact. Even the ‘plastic’ bag inside each box is actually wood based cellophane, which means that it can be placed in your compost, along with the used tea itself

We have designed our pyramids tea bags with a great deal of thought and consideration, to offer tea drinkers a more convenient option. We hand-blend each of our teas before they are packed into the pyramid bags, here in Australia, to ensure there is no compromise on flavour or therapeutic benefit. We use a biodegradable mesh material for our tea bags, called “Soilon”, which is made from a plant starch, and have personally tested the biodegradability in our own home compost Do you compost our tea bags?

Once upon a time, everything humans ate came from nature, in a relatively unaltered state. Now days, most foods have been significantly altered and changed by the time they’ve made their way to our shelves. With such dramatic changes being made to our foods, we often find that they lose nutritional content, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It will never be as easy as it once was to eat clean and pure foods, but you can always try to eat as many foods as close to their natural state as possible. Grow your own where you can, buy organic where possible and remain conscious of how altered your food has become by the time it reaches you ?
