If you’ve picked up a box of our tea, and noticed the 1% for the planet logo on the back, we’d love to take a moment to share with you who they are and what they do. @onepercentfortheplanet are an international organisation whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to sustainability-oriented non-profits. These organisations focus on protecting land, forests, rivers, oceans, and encouraging sustainable methods of energy production. We are proud to be one of the 1,200 businesses that contribute every year to help further protect our beautiful, big planet because we believe that it is our environmental responsibility ???? @hiltoncarter

? We often get asked which is better… tea bags or loose leaf. Here at Love Tea, we adamantly believe that loose leaf tea is the best option. It offers the best environmentally responsible option for consuming tea as it reduces excess packaging from tea bags, either pyramids or paper. As we pack all of our loose leaf tea by hand, it also reduces energy consumption, as minimal machinery is needed to pack the products. We believe loose leaf tea is the best option to truly enjoy your “tea experience”. Which do you prefer, loose leaf or tea bags? ?

We have put a great deal of effort into sourcing biodegradable packaging materials, to ensure we provide environmentally friendly products, which in turn reduces our environmental impact. Even the ‘plastic’ bag inside each box is actually wood based cellophane, which means that it can be placed in your compost, along with the used tea itself
